Advisory
A note with CVSS 8.7 for component BW-BCT-GEN was released by SAP on 11.04.2023. The correction/advisory 3305907 was described with "[CVE-2023-29186] Directory Traversal vulnerability in SAP NetWeaver ( BI CONT ADD ON)" and affects the system type ABAP.
A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as part of maintenance.
The vulnerability addressed is directory traversal (write) within ABAP.
