A note with CVSS 3.3 for component KM-SEN-MGR was released by SAP on 09.07.2024. The correction/advisory 3476340 was described with "[CVE-2024-34692] Unrestricted File upload vulnerability in SAP Enable Now" and affects the system type SAP Enable Now.

A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as part of maintenance.

The vulnerability addressed is weak security defaults within SAP Enable Now.

SAP Enable Now allows an authenticated attacker to upload malicious files, leading victims who downloads that file to be exposed to the malicious content.

Solution

A configuration setting was added enabling the administrator to restrict file uploads.
