Advisory

A note with CVSS 4.2 for component AP-MD-BF-SYN was released by SAP on 23.05.2023. The correction/advisory 1794761 was described with "[CVE-2023-32115] SQL Injection in Master Data Synchronization (MDS COMPARE TOOL)" and affects the system type ABAP.

A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.

The vulnerability addressed is sql injection within ABAP.

The MDS COMPARE TOOL now properly checks user input.
