A note with CVSS 6.3 for component FI-FIO-AP was released by SAP on 10.05.2022. The correction/advisory 2754555 was described with "Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in F0673 Approve Bank Payments back-end" and affects the system type ABAP.

A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.

The vulnerability addressed is cross-site request forgery (xsrf) within ABAP.

Missing authority checks are still the most common security defect related to authorizations in custom code. F0673 Approve Bank Payments allows an attacker to trick an authenticated user to send an unintended request to the webserver. This vulnerability is due to insufficient CSRF protection.
