A note with CVSS 4.9 for component BC-MID-RFC was released by SAP on 08.02.2022. The correction/advisory 3128473 was described with "[CVE-2022-22545] Information Disclosure vulnerability in SAP NetWeaver Application Server ABAP and ABAP Platform" and affects the system type ABAP.

A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.

The vulnerability addressed is information disclosure within ABAP.

Missing authority checks are still the most common security defect related to authorizations in custom code. Solution

The code has been updated to re-validate the authorization in case an administrator changes parameters of an HTTP destination.
