A note with CVSS 6.1 for component BC-EIM-ESH was released by SAP on 13.12.2022. The correction/advisory 3271313 was described with "[CVE-2022-41275] Offener Redirect in SAP Solutions Manager (Enterprise Search)" and affects the system type ABAP.

A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.

The vulnerability addressed is url redirection vulnerability within ABAP.

Missing authority checks are still the most common security defect related to authorizations in custom code.
