Advisory
A note with CVSS 3.5 for component FI-FIO-AP was released by SAP on 12.09.2023. The correction/advisory 3369680 was described with "[CVE-2023-41369] External Entity Loop vulnerability in SAP S/4HANA (Create Single Payment application)" and affects the system type ABAP.
A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.
The vulnerability addressed is external entity tunneling (xxe) within ABAP.

The Create Single Payment application of SAP S/4HANA allows an authenticated attacker to upload XML files as an attachment that are not properly checked and subsequently result in an slowdown of the browser.Solution
The Create Single Payment application now downloads the file to the local file system instead of getting it opened in the browser when clicking the file in the attachment section.
