A note with CVSS 5.3 for component BC-ESI-WS-JAV-RT was released by SAP on 09.04.2024. The correction/advisory 3425188 was described with "[CVE-2024-27898] Server-Side Request Forgery in SAP NetWeaver (tc~esi~esp~grmg~wshealthcheck~ear)" and affects the system type Java.
A workaround does not exist, according to SAP Security Advisory team. It is advisable to implement the correction as monthly patch process.
The vulnerability addressed is server-side request forgery (ssrf) within Java.
